Messaging Server adds email, calendar, address book, and task management as well as additional capabilities including mobile access, integrated voicemail and fax, and integrated document management. By embracing open standards and extensibility, all messaging services can be accessed through Microsoft Outlook, Webmail (a Web client), standards-based clients like Mozilla Thunderbird, and mobile devices like the Apple iPhone and RIM Blackberry. Like other modules, messaging services are centrally managed and benefit from the scalability and security of the collaboration platform.
